Here we are spying on the naughty bunnies who eat mommy's garden- he thinks they are puppies and chases them around yelling "woof woof" but they run away):
Oh my sick baby at the arthritis walk...I know, parents of the year taking a kid with a fever out for a 3 mi walk...):
look at this handsome little boy!! --he is a little dirty, but you expect that from kids right? That is why I bought him that sweet near white hat...? No worries, I sprayed it with shoe spray and it is washable!
So Thurs, daycare said he was a cuddle bug, but not crabby--which led me to believe when he woke up Fri with a fever and a no nonsense attitude we were staying home. He was up for a total of 1 hr throughout the day until we woke him for a presentation at the hospital in honor of Ian's dad at 330pm. We gave him medicine and went about our business- grilling with family and he appeared to be fine.
Sat am was the big walk!!! What a great experience to share with Ian's family in honor of his father- we finished the walk by bringing in Ian's eldest brother at the Lake Wobegan marathon, which he did instead of our 3 mi walk, but still for John-what a show off! jk He even pr's (personal record) by over 15 min it was very exciting and emotional but sooooo COLD!
Sat afternoon was more grilling and Sat night was ladies night with the sister in laws. We ventured out to Rollie's the new bar in the place of Dusty's or the Hitchin' Post but now, with a mechanical bull-- run by the man who used to have a traveling one man karaoke show- funny(:
AND finally Sun we sipped on homemade bloodys my dad whipped up a batch from his old Playboy's bar guide book including cocktail shrimp with my mom and then bravo with Ian's mom- I think I need to take up running again- ha!
No wonder we get nothing done on wknds and Ian calls our house his hotel!
